Mandurah Samphire

Creery Wetlands and Samphire Cove - Home of the Quenda also known as the Southern Brown Bandicoot

Virtual Tour

A Riot of Colour and Movement
Look around you!

The deep reds, oranges and greens of the samphire complement the soft greys of bark and mud.

Seed pods and flowers adorn the plants; some bright and showy, others small and insignificant.

Tiny, brightly-coloured bugs wander over foliage, ants scurry across the ground and dragonflies hover overhead.

Hundreds of small animals graze, hunt and hide in the bush by the path.
